The agent of Joshua Zirkzee, Kia Joorabchian, is getting busy finding the right landing spot for Joshua Zirkzee, and he has been talking especially with Arsenal director Edu in the last few weeks. The representative reportedly obtained to extend the striker’s €40M release clause to any team and not just Bayern Munich, Corriere dello Sport informs.

The Gunners are ready to tender a rich contract to the marksman. They are preparing a four-year deal with £6M wages plus add-ons. While the figure would be vastly superior compared to what he’s making currently, the forward has reservations about transferring abroad.

Zirkzee wouldn’t mind spending another season in Serie A before making the jump to a top team like Arsenal or others. Milan and Juventus have long been eyeing him as well. However, he’s considering staying put in 2024/2025, as he told Sky during the Formula One Grand Prix in Imola (via Fantacalcio).

“As far as I know now, I’ll play the Champions League with Bologna, but I can’t say anything. There’s not much going on. We’ll see after the vacation.”

Our Take on Zirkzee

The risk of getting lost in the shuffle is always there, and he knows that all too well since he already experienced it at Bayern Munich. So, if he wants to build up his resume, become undeniable, and get to a big club with a starring role, another campaign at Bologna would be the way to go. But some sides, especially Milan, would hand him that this summer already.
